I call this “My Prayer Corner”. I went to El Nido, Palawan a month ago & found this wonderful site at Las Cabañas, El Nido. The French-Canadian resort owner put this bench and a slightly angled table as a tribute to artists who come to his place. The setup is facing the ocean & the islands that were scattered around it. The idea was to inspire them to create wonderful works of art. However, as I sat on the bench & stared at the awe-inspiring sight, I can’t help but to pray & meditate. I simply felt humbled by the magnificence of creation & blessed at the same time. I ended up singing “God’s Wondrous Works” (Song # 110) … in Korean. (I wish!) ‘Can’t wait to get back to my latest fave spot!
